1. Put up a Food Photography Exhibition, titled ‘DisTaste‘, at the YSS SYF Showcase
2. Hosted the SYF 2019 Student Photographer Masterclass
3. Represented the school at SYF 2019 as Student Photographers

 

Thinker-Innovator-Contributor Highlights (focusing on learning experiences / processes):

The members of the Aperture Club are thinking visual communicators who seize multiple opportunities to hone their skills in photography and videography. This year, the club’s focus was on food-centred photojournalism, which culminated in a duo-feature photo exhibition on de-constructed food and food waste. The members were creative and experimented with different photography techniques, which resulted in many captivating photographs. Also, as student photographers at the Singapore Youth Festival, they were able to apply the skills they had learnt during the Masterclass.
